Hey there folks, I’ve been busy with calculus homework and things of that sort. This past July 7th, 2008 was my 25th Birthday, hence the lack of an update this weekend! 
I’ve decided I would share a few ways that I make money from this very site. You see the ads all around the site recently? Well, those all come from various PPC Groups or from Affiliate marketing sites that I’ve recently joined. Aside from that I have a few links on the site that folks who own blogs have purchased in the past.
Let me take the time to announce that I am giving one blog the opportunity to enter their blog on a 125X125 ad space that is available on the top right hand corner of this site! This is Free and All you have to do is encourage your readers to sign up to my RSS Feed! The site that refers the most people who sign up for my RSS Feed and let me know about it through my contact page will automatically win that adspace for a period of 1 month! If you have made it this far into this entry then you are serious about wanting to monetize on your blog. I hope you had a wonderful day on Monday, and I hope your next 25 years are full of happiness, satisfaction, fulfilment and joy.
I’m curious, since I can’t see any advertisements from Google AdSense, so I assume that you don’t use it. I would love to hear your opinion on the benefits or costs of other advertising affiliate programs as opposed to AdSense.

Just me own input on adsence vs other affiliates:
Adsense is a pay per click program. So you earn anywhere from .15 cents to 2.00 dollars per click. The price varies with the price of keywords being bid on by advertisers.
Affiliate marketing generates money by pay per lead, or pay per lead. It’s not enough for someone to click the banner ad, the person clicking the ad has to do something else, and this varies from offer to offer. In some offers, all that may be required from the users is an email address. Others require full contact information, while others can require SSN and even credit card information to make a sale. Of course generating a sale earn you much more than generating a lead for someone. Generating a sale can earn you $30, while a simple email lead can be $2.
Both types of programs are free, so there is no cost to you. But which one works best can differ from one website to another. What they both have in common is that they require you to drive volumes of visitors to your site so that the minority will click an ad.
