Scholarships; My Life Saver!

Hello Moolah heads!

Tonight I write a little about some import things that are going on in my life. As some of you might know, I’m a college student at the University of Texas at Austin studying economics. I’m so devastated by some statistics about how many attend school and yet blessed to know how lucky I am to have this opportunity . However, the topic of this entry is not about me, its about what I did to try and soften the blow of amounts I may have gotten while in college (money for college). Although I’m still attending, I’ve taken some very proactive steps in getting free available scholarship money(money for college). I’ll tell you how I did it.

When I first starting to think about going to college, I had already told myself that I would end up going military. The reason being, the military could pay for my college with available funds that they provide to students/soldiers. Before my graduation year, I decided to talk with a college adviser to see whether he knew about what kind of funding the Army would provide once I decided to attend school. Well, luckily he opened another door for me. Scholarships(money for college)! He mentioned that my grades were good enough, my school ranking was 26/536 and I had no Idea that there were many simple little scholarship that I could apply for and receive(money for college)! Not only that be he gave me a great source where I could even find a job as a student while in college!

Needless to say, I decided to go to college instead of the military and have often thought about how the Army could have been for me, but I don’t regret where I’ve come. I would recommend that you visit the above site (FastWeb) and sign up so you can freely search through different opportunities you might be able to earn(money for college)! I used it and found a job and a scholarship while I was a Sophomore.

Take the first step in the right direction, I promise, this is one of the single most influential ways that you can make money and its so you can get the most valuable thing you can get in life, an education!

All you have to do is visit the above or bellow website, its the first step I took and I was glad I did! Good Luck to you future students! Class of 2012!

Respectfully,

Tony Tovar

Great job. The best time to save money is when you have more of it. Create a nice gap. I am sure your economic studies help you to understand and calculate all this. It seems to be serving you well.

I liked this post. It can be extremely hard to finance your education without any sort of assistance. Whether you are fresh out of high-school or just trying to further your education, knowing where to begin is tough. Try
